DAISY – TECHNICIAN & RECEPTIONIST

Daisy was born and raised in sunny San Diego, CA. She graduated from West Hills High School in 1999. In 2001, she was hired at a no-kill cat shelter, where she fell in love with cats. In 2002, she realized she loved working with cats so much that she decided to pursue a degree in Veterinary Assisting. In 2003, Daisy graduated from San Diego Occupational Program for Veterinary Assistants. She then decided to expand her knowledge in the animal field, so in 2005 she took a job at Animal Medical Center in East County (largest animal hospital in San Diego County). After several years, Daisy wanted to find a hospital that was smaller and more intimate. In 2008, that’s when she found Mast Blvd. Pet Hospital, and now this is where she calls home. Daisy has volunteered for many non-profit animal organizations where she has fostered over 50 kittens. She has 2 cats: Rascal (Ra-ski-love) and Sahara (Princess). She loves all animals, but has a special bond with cats. We call her the “Cat Whisperer.” Daisy enjoys riding dirt bikes, camping, playing softball, riding roller coasters and farming on “Farmville.” One thing you may not know about Daisy is she roller, skates three times a week at the last roller rink left in San Diego.
